I’m still alive
Barely. It’s been a whild since I’ve posted anything here, but I’ve been keeping busy. Still working at Lowe’s. Still not loving it. I had one of those bad days yesterday where I couldn’t seem to do anything right. Thankfully, I have the day off today and I’m hoping that will give me some time to get myself together so that tomorrow will go better. I have Friday, Saturday and Sunday off this week and I’m really, really looking forward to it. Not that we’ve got anything planned, but a whole weekend off will be really nice.
The hubby is still unemployed. He’s had some interviews, but nothing came of them. He’s been out of work for nearly 11 weeks now. Things are getting pretty ugly here, moneywise. If something doesn’t turn up soon, I don’t know what we are going to do.
Sebastian is out of school for the summer. I have to say that I’m enjoying not having to get up so early in the morning to get him off to school. His report card is supposed to be mailed at the end of this week. I’m eager to see how he did. I know he is fine academically, it’s his behaviour that I’m interested in seeing. I’m so glad that first grade is over and really hope next year is better. Hopefully, he’ll get a great teacher and will be used to this school and his friends, so we won’t have the same behavioural issues. My fingers are definitely crossed.
I think that about does it for an update. Same old, same old around here. I’m hoping that changes real soon!
